The Art of Connection

Ulrike Miles believes that meaningful philanthropy begins with connection—bringing together people, ideas, institutions, and resources to create lasting impact. An Austrian-born civic leader and philanthropist, she has dedicated her career to fostering partnerships that strengthen the arts, expand educational opportunity, and enrich communities. Guided by a lifelong belief in the transformative power of culture and learning, she is committed to investing in the institutions and leaders who inspire creativity, broaden opportunity, and build stronger communities.

She currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. Her philanthropic leadership has also included service with the McColl Center, Arts at Queens, and other organizations dedicated to advancing the arts, education, and civic engagement.

Mercury Impact serves as the home for philanthropic initiatives, partnerships, and commitment to investing in organizations that inspire creativity, expand opportunity, and strengthen communities.
